Acer x freemanii Autumn Blaze

Common Name(s):

  • Autumn blaze Maple
  • Maple
SKU: 7cebdc6033ba Categories: ,

An upright, fast-growing deciduous tree with spectacular bright orange and scarlet autumn colours. The deeply cut, dark green leaves have a silvery underside and clear-red veins, while the trunk has a silver-grey bark. The ascending branches form a broadly oval head and it makes an excellent specimen tree either for a lawn or planted as a group for a vivid autumn colour display. The autumn colour effect will be more intense on moist, acidic soils. Avoid planting in exposed sites due to the brittle nature of the wood.
